As with anything based so entirely on the needs of the application, it’s not easy to say one particular website hosting solution is always the best. When it comes to hosting a website… a plan, provider, or network setup that may work for one website, may be entirely impractical or insufficient for another. One good tip to keep in mind when choosing a web host is don’t always go with the cheapest plan just because its the cheapest. Sometimes you may happen upon a super killer deal or special being run by a good provider, but that’s the exception. All too frequently, the dollar less you chose to pay to keep your website online reliably ends up costing you a lot more in the long run due to down-time, lost sales, poor company image, etc.

What is Web Hosting
As peculiar as it may seem to most techies, many people don’t understand what web hosting is. Basically, web hosting is what allows the world to see your website. You can design, code, and place a website on your harddrive where nobody sees it.. or you can spend a few bucks a month and host it on a type of computer known as a Web Server. This allows you to share your masterpiece with the public.
