Best way to point url to subdirectory of web root
« on: June 30, 2009, 01:49:21 PM »
I'm pretty new to web development and I have what I'm sure is a pretty simple question.  I've installed zen cart on my server under the home/html_public/store directory.  It works and I can navigate to the store via mydomain.com/store.  I was wondering what the best way to configure apache so that I can type mydomain.com and it will addon /store/index.php automatically.

I am also new here and want to know something. Is there a way to keep the same directory structure on the server, but hide the subdirectory from users? Also, can I point straight to the subdirectory without adding a index.html file in the www root diretcory?
